Data Pool Definition

The data pool is the « data container » of a Line of Business ». 

When a new Line of Business is created in a Business Entity, a new data pool will be created for this Line of Business in each company.

The Data pool is divided into Tags. A Tag is a user label. Each Tag consists of one or more Data Sources

A Data Source is a data repository

The data source can be populated by importing different types of input files:

• Excel files
• CSV or TXT files
• HTML
• And, SQL server 

These input files contain the raw data that will be analyzed and processed with the tool. 

Importing the input files is the first step in data analysis.
